Richard says The photos are in a book called "The Face of Courage", Old Army Press, 1972, by Frank A. Reinhart.
And The Editor of the book was Royal Sutton, Mr. Reinhart died in 1929--He was appointed official photographer for the Trans Mississippi Exposition of 1895--I think the Govt. put it on because the country was in a depression at the time---Geronimo, American Horse, Conquering Bear,Blue Horse, Broken Arm, Fast Thunder, Sitting Bull, War Path, White Whirlwind,+ many others---I would be curious to know if the Govt., or Smithsonian has the originals as Mr. Reinhart was appointed to Take Photos of the 500 who attended--less than 100 are in this book.
I was able to find someone on eBay who has the glass plate negatives, but I have yet to hear back from him.
